JooCart Package contains:

• Joomla component for OpenCart 1.5.x(com_opencart.zip,Modules folder,Plugins,README file)
• Upgrade JooCart (upload folder and README file)
• JooCart Installation by Manually Uploading
• Fixed Bugs for JooCart

To upgrade your existing JooCart installation ,you need to download Upgrade JooCart file.
If you brought JooCart from OpenCart extensions site,then follow the instructions on Readme file.

New Installation

For new installation download only Joomla component for OpenCart 1.5.x file.
Unpack First your downloaded Joomla Component for OpenCart1.5.x.zip file.

Login to Joomla Administrator panel and click to Extention ===> Install/Uninstall

Mode One (If you have no upload limit issue)

Browse file com_opencart.zip and click Upload file & install

Done.Make sure you are not using system legacy plugin.If you enabled it,then disable it.

If your site run with PHP Safe mode or max_execution_time is too low you may receive following error:

In this case please use the mode Two

Mode Two (Recomended)

Open FTP connection to your Joomla site, locate and open tmp folder and upload com_opencart.zip to the server.

Go to Extention ===> Install/Uninstall and insert the link leading to your tmp folder. (http://www.YOUR_JOOMLA_SITE.com/tmp/com_opencart.zip) and click install

After a while you should see screen indicating installation Success
Delete uploaded com_opencart.zip file from your tmp folder(Important)

Another Method
First, unzip all of the files locally(i.e unzip com_opencart.zip). Then transfer the files (using FTP) to a folder in the tmp directory (for example /home/demophpsoft/public_html/tmp/com_opencart/) for the com_opencart.zip you are installing. Then Go to Joomla Installer Extention ===> Install/Uninstall , but select "Install From Directory" indicating the correct folder name. This folder name should be an absolute path from the root of the filesystem(for example /home/demophpsoft/public_html/tmp/com_opencart/) .
Then click on install button.
Done.

You will get default JooCart admin username and password in README.txt,Please change it(very very important).

JooCart module installation.

From Extention ===> Install/Uninstall browse a module file mod_opencart.shopping_cart.zip and click Upload file & install(You will get all the modules in your package Joomla Component for OpenCart 1.5.x\Modules \1.5.x or 1.6.x-3.x folder and you will get plugins in Joomla Component for OpenCart 1.5.x\Plugins folder)

After Installation now you can access your JooCart admin panel.

You can find JooCart admin panel on Components ===> JooCart

Module configuration

Go To Extentions ===> Module Manager, find JooCart's module which you have installed, configure and enable.

Assign Menu Items

Go To Menus ===> Choose Menu where you wish to assign JooCart, and create new menu item with JooCart menu type

JooCart Installation by FTP Manual Uploading

If you have very low upload limit and you can not install JooCart according to above methods.Then download JooCart Installation by Manually Uploading.zip file and unzip.
Install com_opencart.zip from Joomla Extensions->Install/Uninstall Menu
Upload the contents of upload folder to your joomla directory.
Done
